Uzbekistan Airways will begin pre-flight weigh-ins as part of study

Uzbekistan Airways has announced that it will begin pre-flight weighing of passengers to determine the average weight of passengers and their carry-on luggage. Don't fret: the weight records will be anonymous. The weigh-ins results will be used in International Air Transport Association research to help ensure flight safety.
