Arsenal need to sign three new players if they want to win the Premier League.
That is the opinion of former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp, who had previously backed the Gunners to win the league with the squad they have.
Redknapp said that Arsenal's performance against Liverpool on Monday night left him in no doubt that they were short of a centre-back, a midfielder and a centre-froward.
"If Arsenal get one or two injuries that back four looks vulnerable," Redknapp wrote on Kicca.
"[Laurent] Koscielny does seem to pick up a few knocks and I reckon they probably need three players if they’re going to mount a challenge this year.
"They need another central defender, I still think they need another midfielder and they need a centre forward."
He added: "I fancied Arsenal before the start of the season but now, going on what I’ve seen I’d revise that – there are only two runners this season, Manchester City and Chelsea and you’d have to fancy Man City so far.
"If Arsenal can add to the squad it would make a big difference."
Arsene Wenger's side are currently ninth in the table after picking up four points from their opening three games.
