Buhari Sacks NPA MD, Reinstates Abdullahi Sacked by GEJ

Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero.

 A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina said the termination of  Bayero's appointment was with immediate effect.

 The statement reads:‎ "He is to hand over the management of the NPA and all government property in his possession to Mr. Habibu Abdullahi who has been reinstated as Managing Director of the NPA by Buhari."Buhari wishes Alhaji Bayero well in his future endeavours."

 The sacked managing director was appointed by former president, Dr Goodluck Jonathan shortly before he vacated office as president.
