Ogun records first case of Lassa fever

Ogun State has recorded the first Lassa fever case. Information has it that the victim is a 28 Years Old lady and she has been transferred from an undisclosed private hospital to the Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital (OOUTH),Sagamu.

This was disclosed in a Press briefing by the State's Commissioner for Health.

Lagos State is one the states affected and the disease has claimed several lives, including doctors in most of the affected states.
